DUBLIN MUSEUMS.


Ireland is a popular tourist destination. There is a large variety of things to see and do, from its stunning landscapes and coastal scenary to its rich history and heritage, as well as its people and culture.
Not to be overlooked are is many museums. Below is a list of Irish Museums which are located in Dublin.
'The Natural History Museum'. Described as a 'museum of a museum'. With over 10,000 exhibits, it provides a glimpse of the natural world that has delighted generations of visitors since the doors opened in 1857. Located in Merrion St Upper Dublin.2.
'The National Gallery of Ireland' situated in Dublin. It houses a collection of European art from the 14th to the 20th century.
'The Irish Museum of Modern Art also located in Dublin. It holds a permanent collection plus exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, featuring visual and performance crossovers.
'The National Museum of Ireland. Dublin. Artefacts dating from 7000 BC to modern times, plus guest exhibitions.
'The Little Museum of Dublin' 15 St. Stephens Green. Dublin. It is an 18th century Georgian town house. The museum consists of 3 large rooms where literally every inch of the walls is covered with relics of Irish past over the last 100 years more.
Many of the Museums are free of charge. But others require a modest fee.
It is truly worth a visit to any of the museums listed. To experience Dublins rich history and culture.
